THE BENCHMARK AT CASCADE VILLAGE
Sammy and Kyle’s wedding at the Benchmark at Cascade Village was such a lovely day with the most beautiful scenery! I’m so thankful I got to photograph their wedding! I mean, just look at it! The views don’t get much better than that.
This wedding was coordinated by none other than the ladies at The Perfect Day Co. They always make the day run so flawlessly. We were also happy to work with the folks at The Thirsty Rooster again!
GETTING READY
Safe to say that no wedding day every goes perfectly according to plan. Well, right when we arrived at the Benchmark at Cascade Village, we learned that Sammy was a little behind in getting ready, as she showed up for her hair appointment and the salon was closed! I can guarantee that we were probably more stressed about it than Sammy was. The most relaxed bride ever said, “What’s worrying about it going to do?” and went to find another salon! How cool is she?!
Let’s also take a moment for these flowers from Bayfield Blooms! Just the prettiest way to incorporate Sammy’s colors: maroon, light pink, and cream. All the heart eyes!
Sammy had a whole crew helping her get ready, including her sister, friends, nieces, and nephews! It was a super sweet time watching them all dote on the beautiful bride!
THE CEREMONY
It’s always a highlight to watch the groom seeing his soon-to-be-wife coming down the aisle.
Sammy and her dad shared a sweet moment as she is the last of his three daughters to get married!
By far one of the best parts of weddings at the Benchmark at Cascade Village are the ceremony views! Paired with the first kiss? To die for!
BRIDE AND GROOM
After the ceremony, we headed to the sun-lit aspens to get a few bride and groom portraits!
As I said before, Sammy and Kyle were about the most relaxed couple you could get on a wedding day. I loved it! No one wants to spend one of the biggest days of their lives stressed out and rushing!
These two are from Wisconsin. It was so fun to get to know them better and hear about their work and lives. Let me tell you, they’ve got some crazy stories!
DINNER AND RECEPTION
As we made our way inside for the reception, we noticed that everyone was loving the photo guestbook- especially the nieces and nephews…
…who also shared some pretty cute speeches for the bride and groom.
Okay, definitely in the running for some of my favorite desserts at a wedding! These beauties were created by the Tipsy Baker. And yes, they did taste as good as they looked!
SUNSET PHOTOS
If you know me, you know I love a good sunset photo! One of my favorite parts of the day if we’re able to make it happen.
I loved the dreaminess of the San Juan flowing behind them!
DANCING
The DJs from Four Corners Sound got everyone out on the dance floor to end the night!
As always, I am so thankful to the couples that chose to let me be a part of their day! Sammy and Kyle, thank you so much! You all are just the sweetest and I can’t wait to see where life takes you!
