Autumn River Bend Ranch Wedding: Emily + Sterling

Beauty. That is the word that comes to mind when I think of how to try to describe this autumn River Bend Ranch wedding. Everywhere I looked, I was taken aback by how beautiful it all was!

The Details

Right away, I want to shout out Celeste from Lady Southwest. I was completely BLOWN AWAY with all of the florals throughout the day. Not only did she put together the beautiful creations, but she stayed for most of the day and was there to help in whatever way was needed!

I always love River Bend, but it is especially beautiful in the fall! The forecast for this weekend was rain beyond belief. We’re talking record-level amounts of rain (you can tell when you look at those clouds)! But somehow, the rain held off the entire day and we were able to utilize River Bend’s amazing outdoor ceremony space!

Okay, it’s so easy for me to get caught up in all of the beautiful details of the day that somehow I’m just now getting to the beautiful people of the day! Meet Emily. Sweet, gorgeous, fun, and care-free! It was a blast to get to be in the room as all the girls got ready! Just such a joyous and upbeat vibe!

Emily’s hair and makeup were done by the ladies from Hair Fusion and I think we can all agree- stunning!

And now a brief interruption to AGAIN talk about how gorgeous this all was. Just look at these tablescapes set up by Brittney, the wedding coordinator from River Bend with all the beautiful florals from Celeste!

The Ceremony

Right before the ceremony, we started feeling some light rain. Everyone was preparing for a downpour! Thankfully, it cleared up and stayed that way the rest of the ceremony!

It was so fun to hear all of the stories about Emily and Sterling from their officiant who was a close friend! He shared the best meet-cute between these two! They met when Sterling asked if he could pet Emily’s dog! And the rest is history! How incredible is that?!

I always love following the bride and groom right after the ceremony and snapping a few shots. These two proved why I do that- so many emotions!

Cocktail Hour

Time to get into the cocktail hour at this Autumn River Bend Ranch wedding and all of the incredible vendors that made it happen!

The Thirsty Rooster Trailer Bar provided the tasty-looking drinks with flair all night!

We always rave about Rob Webster when we get to work with him. He not only provides live music and DJ services, but is super professional, talented and loves what he does! If you are stuck on trying to figure out music for your day, look no further than Rob!

Have you all heard of Winnie the Photobus?! If you are having a Durango wedding, you definitely need to look them up!

Complete with props and printed photo strips, Winnie added so much fun and flair to the day! Plus, isn’t she just the cutest??

Couple Portraits

Okay, BIG heart eyes for all of the autumny vibes of this day!

I know I’ve said this already, but I really cannot stress how sweet this couple is! They both said thank you to us countless times for being there throughout the day.

We had to have a moment for Sterling’s custom suit jacket featuring dogs (and a lion) in their best attire!

Big shoutout to the Durango and Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad for always providing the most epic photos (and usually a special little honk) for our couples!

I just cannot get over all of the bold and beautiful colors of this day! I am dying over these pond photos!

Dinner +Reception

Dinner and desserts were provided by the amazing Et Voila catering team!

And then it was time for dancing!!

I noted several times throughout the night what a multi-generational dance floor this wedding had! So fun to see everyone having a good time from the littles to the grandparents!

And the night was complete with a sparkler send-off!

Emily and Sterling, I am SO excited for you both as you start this new journey! Thank you for letting me be a part of your day and so many congratulations!!
