If you’re looking for some classy and beautiful wedding inspo that still keeps all of your personal touches, you are in the right place! This June LePlatt’s Pond Wedding had me wanting to hit pause throughout the day so I could capture and remember all of the special moments!
Getting Ready

Ainsley reached out to me over a year ago inquiring about her wedding date! So my excitement has been building for a while now! It was such a joy to finally get to their day and be able to meet her and Bryce in person!

These gals from Something Ginger were just the best! They made everyone look and feel beautiful and picture perfect!

Ainsley’s dress has quite the backstory! She had numerous dress appointments, even flying to Dallas to try some on! She finally decided to buy a dress and then have it completely redesigned by S&F Alterations. I love when a bride takes things into her own hands and makes her dreams come true!

Father-Daughter First Look
After everyone was ready, the first stop for photos was this special first look between Ainsley and her dad.

Bridal Party
These champagne colored dresses combined with the backdrop of LePlatt’s Pond made for some pretty dreamy photos!

The beautiful florals of the day were arranged by Bayfield Blooms! Nothing but good things to say about them!

A quick shout-out for Lacy from LePlatt’s Pond (who deserves much more than a quick shout-out)! Trust me, everyone needs a Lacy on their wedding day. From pinning boutonnieres to setting up amazing table-scapes, she does it all with a smile and makes your day run so smoothly!

The theme of this wedding was Tuxes and Tacos and I just love the classy look of these tuxes!

LePlatt’s Pond
Bryce and Ainsley are from Albuquerque, but Durango has held a special place in their hearts since they started first started dating! Since Ainsley is a realtor in Albuquerque, it was really important to her to actually get a relaxed, fun weekend away. And LePlatt’s Pond helped to provide just that!

Okay, we HAVE to talk about their dog, Bonnie Blue Butler (any Gone with the Wind fans out there?!)! Since Bonnie Blue couldn’t attend the wedding, Ainsley made sure to incorporate her in lots of ways throughout the day.

She was featured on the napkins, had her own special drink, and was even on a dissolving drink topper! How cute is that??

These ladies from San Juan Sips brought the fun and kept guests happy all night!

The Ceremony
It was time for the ceremony at this June LePlatt’s Pond wedding and you could certainly feel the love in the air throughout it all!

While Ainsley and Bryce signed their marriage license, there was a surprise happening behind the scenes.

A Burro Surprise!
Ainsley had secretly planned for some burros to show up to the party! Everyone was surprised (especially Bryce) and they were one of the biggest hits of the whole day!

These burros, Hope and Lucy, are sisters from San Juan Beverage Burros! You heard that right! They walked around during cocktail hour offering beverages for the guests to enjoy. As you can tell, everyone loved them!

Tuxes and Tacos!
We then headed into some bridal party photos and I feel like I just have to say one more time how classy everything looked!

When I heard that Zia Taqueria was catering this wedding, I was stoked! They have both amazing food and service and really completed the “Tuxes and Tacos” theme that I love so much!

Dinner was followed by an assortment of decadent desserts from Barefoot Baker. And yes, everything DID taste as good as it looked!

Reception
As the evening headed into toasts and dancing, it was a joy to be able to hear all of the inside jokes and stories from Bryce and Ainsley’s friends and family.

I always love to watch the emotion in the room during the special dances.

Sunset Photos
After the first few dances, I quickly whisked Ainsley and Bryce away as I saw the sun creating the perfect light for some magical golden hour photos!

And let me tell you, they were indeed magical!

Party Dancing
The night ended with all of the party dancing, complete with glow sticks!

This crew was super fun and the vibes were kept high by Doug from Aiko Aiko Sound!

Mr. and Mrs. Shambarger, THANK YOU for trusting to me to be a part of your best day! I could not be more excited for the two of you. Congratulations!
