I was ALL about these dreamy Falls Creek engagement photos with Nickie and Jacob! I immediately learned that I had quite a bit in common with them! Nickie and Jacob started dating in high school and are now getting married right before their senior year in college. Will and I are also high school sweethearts!
These two met in their freshman choir class. Nickie had transferred to Jacob’s school that year and Jacob immediately knew that he wanted to date her!
Since then, they have both been able to be a part of a choir that travels world-wide! Not going to lie, it kind of felt like I was hanging out with celebrities.
Nickie is currently studying business administration at Fort Lewis College while Jacob is getting his degree in criminology. They are self-proclaimed “homebodies who also love the outdoors” and I have to say, that resonates with me quite a bit.
The similarities didn’t end there! We also were able to connect on all-things ministry as both of Nickie’s parents are worship leaders!
I loved how magical these Falls Creek engagement photos turned out, thanks to the perfect light, glowing green meadows, and all of the sweet moments between this couple.
Nickie and Jacob are getting married in August and I simply can’t wait for their big day! Taking these photos felt more like getting to know some new friends than a normal engagement shoot. I’m excited for that feeling to continue for their wedding!
