Powerhouse Science Center- Bridal Shoot

After what feels like an eternal winter, we have decided to fully embrace the spring vibes with this styled shoot at the Powerhouse Science Center! We had some amazing vendors contribute to this styled shoot!!

Venue:

Did you know you can rent the Powerhouse for your wedding!? If you want a fun, funky, and entertaining space to have your wedding reception, the Powerhouse is your answer! This space gives total Durango vibes, it’s close to town, and it is entertaining for your guests!!

Event Planner/Coordinator:

Durango Event Planners is one of the best wedding planning services that I have worked with! I have had the opportunity to work with their team on several occasions, and they are wonderful! One of the best things about working with wedding planners is that they coordinate, plan, and arrange your wedding day so that you can pass the torch and ENJOY your wedding day! As a photographer, it is such a joy to work with such attentive and caring wedding coordinators. Love this team! I can’t recommend them enough 🙂

Wedding Dress:

Katerina’s Darling Bridal offers some of the most beautiful wedding dresses that I have seen! This is my second styled shoot working with Katerina, and she is wonderful! She serves her brides so well, she loves the Durango community, and she offers a beautiful variety of wedding dresses! She also offers several other services to her brides for a complete darling experience! Check her out!!

Flowers:

April’s Garden is an award winning flower shop in the area!! Fun fact, Emily, our model, is actually a designer for April’s Garden! They put together some beautiful table scapes, several dreamy bouquets, and we were even able to catch Colleen behind the scenes in her cute flower van! They are the sweetest team to work with, totally recommend them!

Cake:

Madison Hert with WhiskIt Bakes and Cakes makes some mean macarons y’all. On top of that, she’s a true artist with her cakes! Madison is the sweetest baker to work with, and she always make sure to give the yummiest treats that not only taste amazing but they look amazing! Her cakes are always beautiful!
