Photographing this Pagosa Springs wedding was definitely a highlight of my fall! Brie and Rob were such a sweet and genuine couple and I loved getting to shoot at the Springs Resort!
The day started with some getting-ready photos with the girls! It was super fun to be in this room and see the dynamics between Brie and her closest gals!
After Brie added the finishing touches, I got to go snap some portraits of her. She was nervous at first about posing in front of the camera, but as you can tell, she reached model-status right away! (Also, featuring the spectacular staircase at the Springs Resort!)
We left the resort and headed a little further up the road to Rob’s property for the ceremony.
Rob had one of my all-time favorite reactions to his gorgeous bride!
He also had one of my all-time favorite reactions to the being pronounced husband and wife!
It was so beautiful to watch this new family all come together after the ceremony.
Right after the ceremony, I was able to sneak away with the newlyweds and capture some dreamy portraits with them.
Robb’s property made for the perfect backdrop for these photos!
I loved everything about this Pagosa Springs wedding, especially these perfect reception details! They even had wine bottles featuring their dogs!
The story behind this cake is the sweetest thing. Rob’s mother was a fantastic baker. Unfortunately, she passed before the wedding, but Rob was able to give the bakery his mom’s recipe! They used it to bake this special cake for their big day!
Another part I loved about this day was that Rob wanted to take his new family out on a short hike before the reception began; sans photographer. I love that they took this special time to be together, even though it was a bit chilly! Plus, Brie was rocking her hiking boots and wedding dress!
After dinner and the speeches, it was time to party!
Needless to say, this Pagosa Springs wedding was one for the books! Thank you Brie and Rob for letting me be a part of this special day.
