Magical Winter Shoot – Cascade Village Durango

These winter couple portraits are a dream! Haley and Alex reached out to me with a very unique request! She had this dream of creating a photoshoot that captured more of a fairytale vibe, but her bigger vision was to create awareness for wolves and wolf-hybrids. Her passion is to see the stigma against these animals fade. She wants to encourage people to educate themselves on the beauty of these animals! So, why not include them on this dreamy, romantic, fairytale photoshoot?

Haley and Alex are troopers. They are both from Texas, so trekking around in the Colorado snow was no small task. But it was certainly worth every minute! Haley obviously loves animals, and as you can tell, they loved her!

We could not have asked for better weather to capture these photos. The sun peaked through the trees periodically, but we also got some beautiful snow. How much more fairytale-esque can you get? It was certainly cold, but these sweet dogs had a blast. What you don’t see pictured, is all the ground beef that these dogs ate as a little snack 🙂 They were in hog-heaven.
